Dont have a 9mm anymore, but group buys on ammo sound good.

How about folks post whether they would be interested and what caliber.

(not trying to hijack the thread, just like the idea and would like to expand it)

yes that was my next comment i just want to get a group buy going for 9mm for selfish reasons - i have a 9mm..

but post up whatever caliber you want and i will get info and work on getting together anyone else to make it stupid cheap for you to get rounds..

I can say this - they are reloads. The same reloads that law enforcement is now using and some big name gun manufacturers to test their new guns before selling. So they are good rounds at an amazing price.

Any idea what the cost would be? A guy on MGO is doing like 1000 rounds for .16+ cents a round.

.45 ACP
.45 Long Colt
Possibly some 9MM and 380 auto if I can get a couple of buddies to buy

No nine here, sorry. If you find anything out about .380 or .45ACP let me know.

It'd have to be a good deal since I can reload pretty cheap, but there's more to it than that. Reloading as almost as much fun as the range. Still, I like to build up my brass stock and there's something wrong with paying $10 for a hundred pieces of empty brass, I'd rather buy the ammo and shoot it, then reload.

$9 per box is the price. I plan on getting 10,000 rounds so let me know how many you are interested in for the 9mm. 50 in a box.

Also keep in mind he gives 11% discount for any brass you return to him.

Ok so brass return is $1.00 per pound. 5 gallon bucket is about 65 pounds of brass when full.

Prices as follows:
9mm 115 RN FMJ $ 9.00 per box of 50
45 ACP 230 RN FMJ $16.00 per box of 50
40 S&W 180 RN FMJ $12.50 per box of 50
380 Auto 100 RN FMJ $14.00 per box of 50

There is 6% sales tax and 11% FET so for a box of 9mm with tax and FET = $10.53.

Let me know if you are interested in some rounds and we will work out the details.

Sorry man, but that works out to 18.80/box for .45acp I can come close to that a local store on new ammo.

If i have it shipped or travel to get it, would cost me more.

Yeah, bit steep for reloads, I can get new for $14 on sale. I suspect it's because he's quoting per box instead of large quantities. Thanks for checking though.

yeah the price break is around 5,000 rounds as you can see with the 9mm.. so if we got enough interest for 45 to get 5,000 round buy you would definitely save..
