Took the Big Ruckus out yesterday and the Tmax out today , it was a little wet but it sure felt good to be back on two wheels . You know what the monkey said when he got his tail caught in the fan ?

IT WON'T BE LONG NOW ! :D

My sport tires don't have much traction in the mud.

I would have gone out today, but it was too windy for me personally. Shame becaue the weather was great, considering it's the middle of February.

I got out today. It really was nice to be on two, despite the wet roads. I had to wipe the bike down when I got home, but that's a small price to pay.

Got out yesterday as well.

Not a long ride as roads are still pretty screwed up here in the sticks.

Winter is back , yesterday's puddles are frozen solid this morning , but the 6 foot tall piles of snow are nearly gone . I was in southern Florida a little over a month ago , and as I was watching several bikers cruising A1A in 80 degree weather , I asked myself why am I still living in Michigan ? The winters are just plain to long here .

I lived in Florida for over a year and I missed the changing seasons. In winter, in Florida, it's humid and it's 50-60. Turns out if it's been 80-110 for a year, 50 and humid on a motorcycle is UNHEARD OF LEVELS of cold. 50 in Florida winter is like 10 or colder here because it's the only time it's cold. I was motorcycle only for 3 years, 2 in Michigan then 1 in Florida. The only time I ever couldn't make it somewhere because of the cold was riding through Orlando in February.

There's also no Autumn or Spring. No perfect days... only "As hot as f*ing Florida" or "cold shower in the sunlight"

I lived in the Boca area in the winter for 10 years , I had a nice condo on the water and absolutely loved it . The weather was between 70 and 85 every day and not really all that humid . But in the warmer months the humidity is indeed unbearable . If you want good weather from say November to May south Florida in the place to be . Central Florida can get pretty damn cold in the winter and I wouldn't spend a dime to go there . I don't know of to many places that have good year around weather .

I can't stand Flordia, I mean besides the beach it's really an ugly state. For motorcycles it sucks ass, the roads are staighter then they are here.

Not soon enough. Favorite riding weather is any that doesn't require cold weather gear; for me that's 65 and up and it can't be too hot to ride for me.

I really have no choice I go to work befoer the sun is up, so I'll be wearing some cold weather gear pretty much no matter what... at least pants..

Other than eating tar coated gravel from the plethora of cold-patch being put down, today was a good ride.

In what state is that?

Michigan in July and August. Most nights don't get below 70, and 75 is perfect with no one else on the roads...as long as you can stand the bugs
