Not much for a ride report writer but here is just a little info, and one or two pics...

Back in july of this year ('09) I had a long weekend, as did the wife, so we found a sitter for the kids and went to my brother and said "I've got a motorcycle trip planned, but only one problem " What's that" he asked, " I need a cruiser......"

The last minute trip was on!!

He would have the brand new 1100 mile 2008 Suzuki c90t Boulevard would be ready to go he said. Insurance was checked and I was covered.

The trip was set to leave on a Friday afternoon, and return Monday night. Departure - Flatrock, MI, Destination - Tennessee.

For a quick blast, of about 1200 miles round trip would be good, but found out one key to photographic memories.... dont back the DSLR to deep in the saddle bags....arrgggg. We quickly got tired of digging out the camera so on road pictures are kind of rare.

Hope everyone enjoys.

The first stop was fairly quick into the trip when I noticed the gps getting closer to the tank, upon closer inspection the windshield was pushing back.

The first night would be in MiddleTown, OH. Without having a first night in mind it was pretty much ride until we want to sleep. Found this place for about 70 for the night.

The next day would start off great with the free breakfast and get us motivated for Lenox, Tenn. for a night at a friends house.

On the way we stopped off at the Jim Beam Distillery

and the Diamond Caverns

Sunday would lead us into downtown Nashville

Sunday afternoon would lead up back up into Newport, Kentucky for the night to check out the aquarium.

And to pet the Sharks (the wife must not have liked it lol)

Monday would bring us from Newport, Kentucky back up to Flatrock Michigan for a much needed cold beer.

And the results are in.....

The spirit of the trip was to ride and ride is what we did. For leaving on a friday afternoon and returning on a monday night it was a great trip. Alot of seat time and the Boulevard c90t was a dream to ride. Wonderful cruise at any speed, plenty of power and comfort.

Couple things i learned on the thrown together trip was
-Debit cards will fly out of a shirt pocket somewhere in ohio, best to keep those in the wallet.
-Point and shoot camera in a convenient location to insure more pictures
-Be sure to set GPS to NOT avoid highways (rode through some sketchy places)

Hope everyone enjoyed and heck, maybe I got some wheels turning on a quick trip.

Sweet deal! Do the switch... I did. Use to run a 9R, don't regret it at all.
