Yeah that's a bit heavy for sure.

Yet, at the bar the other weekend, the waiter gave me a second look, when I said no more drinks for me cause I was driving. I had 1 at dinner and 1 at the bar. I was driving for 3 other people and don't take that lightly.

Ya i don't know why people think its odd for someone to not drink and drive. I get all those stupid looks from my friends all the time. When i go to the parties over the summer on the bike there begging me to drink with them and i just sit back an drink my water I try not to drink at all on the bike and limit myself to about 1 an hour if im going to drive.

agreed as well.. people are inherently stupid and that is the bottom line.. i do not drink and ride and if i am driving 4 wheels i might have 1 or 2 but that's about it.. just not worth all the hassle, etc.

Yep it is sobering. The wife and I woke up christmas eve morning back in 1995. To find out her son a hit a 22 lady and kill her. He was drunk from a christmas parrty the night before. He got 8 years she lost her life.

Yes it was sad. My wife and the mom of the 22 year old the die hug and cry together at his sencencing. The only good thing to came out of it was he don't drink anymore.

WOW. I simply can't imagine being anybody's shoes in that situation. There is no good angle to that, only the positive concelation of him not drinking anymore.

Seldom drink at all, never when riding and with a CCW a whole different set of regulations apply. Everyone here have a wonderful and safe holiday season.
