or similar?

I took the smog / emissions stuff off the bike tonight and I don't want to spend $50+ on a kit when all it is is 4 caps. One kit I saw you have to tap the tubes and thread a bolt into the ends. If I can get away with finding caps like this kit has it'd me much easier.

Thanks!

$50 for those 4 caps doesn't seem bad. They are obviously a nice piece of billet with a set screw and all. Probably some o-ring as well.

It seems bad for me. LOL It's just capping some holes. ;) I'm just going to tap the holes and put screws in them.

I'm thinking of just getting a set of cheap taps from HF. It's just aluminum so that should do the trick plus then I'd have a set around for emergencies.

WTF kind of caps are they? Thread on? Standard valve stem threading?

The caps pictured just go over the tubes and clamp on using the set screw. The other way people cap the tubes off is to tap the tubes and toss some bolts in the tubes with locktite.

He might put something in it but it's not going to be a cap.

I ended up cutting the tubes that went to the holes and pinching them in the vise then slapped them back on. I don't care what they look like because the radiator will cover them. They'll work so I'm cool with it.
