View Full Version : Where to find rejet parts?

Where can I find different jets and needles for my Yamaha FZ1 carbs? I'm getting ready to pull the carbs to fix a leaky gasket and figured while they are off I may as well rejet. I've used Dynojet kits in the past and have been happy with them but I hate paying $100+ for a few jets and needles when I probably can just piece the kit together myself.

Thanks

Normally I would have said Funk, but they are closed.

What brand carb does it have? The Shop might have some if they are similar to HD.

Again, same conclusion... but Stephenson on Wayne Rd & Van Born.

I haven't seen him open in a while. I drove by on tele a month or so ago... still readily "riding season" by anybody's definition and it looked empty not just closed.

I'd be afraid to order it from Funk. LOL That site is jacked up. The link for the 4170, which is what I need, can not be $14. The cheapest I've found that kit was $98.

Yeah, I saw that and was going to try and use the Dynojet jet numbers but I'm not sure if I can find adjustable needles or not.

Thanks man.

p.s. The carbs on the Yamaha I'm pretty sure are Mukini. I'll double check tomorrow.
