My apartment complex just towed my bike from my carport the other day. They claim i was parked in the wrong carport. I was parked in #2 and they claim i rented #1. They claim they tried to locate the owner of the vehicle before it was towed. Its amazing because my plate is registered to my address and my reg and insurance was in my tank bag. The best part is the bill was $400 and the tow company F-ed up my fork lock............. The put the bike on the truck and force the front wheel straight and locked it down!!!!! NOT A GOOD WEEK!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

That sucks man. Hope the towing company pays. I'd be skipping the rent this month and beating a head in.

The towing company was doing their job! The apartment renters are responsible for the damage!

there job ain't to wreck what there towing, impound or not! i tow and also did alot of impounds and never break anybody property! it's like saying they broke your oil pan on a car and there not responsible!

$400? how long was it impounded for?

Buy a house, they come with a garage to put your bike in.
