say good nite to bike night guy and gals, i went to royal oak for bike night with my neighbor. he rides a zx 10. there may have been twenty five bikes tops there. there were only three bikes on main street and most were sport bikes. all were friendly and bleave it or not but only one harley. sad to say last friday was the end of bike night at gibralter trade center. we left out about 19:30 and arrived near 20:00 got a bite to eat then bsed for a while. some guy that had parkrd nex to me on an '83 goldwing standard come over and started putting change in the parking meter. he said that the police came around until 22:00 giving out parking tickets. did anyone have parking trouble over the summer? that is something that should be discussed and if its an issue we should go someplace else that preferably has free parking. the ride there was cool but un eventful and we were back at our homes by 23:15. i am looking foward to napping on the job sometime today :D

FUCK Royal Oak.* In the last 6 years or so they're parking enforcement has DESTROYED both wed and thur bike nights.* I remember it back in 2002 in its hay day.* I use to live in Royal Oak back then.. so I went all the time.*

I haven't been back there in a few years then tried a year ago... parked in front of the old out of biz citizens bank.* Look at what I got for my troubles...

berkely is telling bikers that they want us to come there and so far the parking is free. maybe we should look into that for next year and skip royal oak altogether.* anyone else get a ticket in royal oak?

Chris, tell us how you really feel...* about Royal Oak... haha...

That sucks, sometimes people dont think about the positive impact to a city that draws those numbers in a crowd, revenue for the city I am sure far outweights that ticket they gave you.

Things make no sense when it comes to government.

Maybe we could do a run up there if the weather holds out before we all park for winter and see that Berkley Front looks good and has entertainment.

i agree with you b.b. and i want to see if they have a parking lot so no one gets a ticket parking at the curb
