So i headed down to kentucky with the girlfriend and her family this weekend and had an awesome time i just wish i had my bike because the roads were amazing i am definitely going back and taking it at some point. any way here are some pics of the trip.

If you look closely you can see me. this was the "hole of water" we went sent to to go swimming. we expected a lake and a beach but we were wrong.

I also learned a lesson dont put a girl on the back of your bike that is 3 times bigger than you. ive seen big girls on the back of sport bikes but this looked so funny it was a guy who might have been a buck twenty and the chick was well you see. i felt sorry for that poor gsxr carrying her

tried getting the grandpa to let me take his ultra for a ride but he said i had to beat him in pool first.

this is me getting ready for the most important pool match ever

and this is me getting schooled so needless to say i didnt get to take the bike out.

this little guy the was the life of the trip its my girlfriends little brother theres a 21 year difference between them. i love this kid like my own though.

ya thats all i saw down there was bikes and sport cars. there wer a few lambos and ferraris but the highway is fairly dangerous down there. i think there were 2 motorcycle accidents just in the weekend i was there and in the mountains none of them turned out well. however, the pikeville harley dealer was about 100 yards from the hotel which is the curved building in the second pic i posted. i picked up a bad ass shirt from there which has a fatboy riding out of a coal mine with a miner on it and i was also able to check out the new 48 it looks a hell of a lot smaller even compares to the rest of the sportys around it.

the trip was awesome and the only real bad thing about it was on the way back witnessed a pretty bad accident an elderly woman came across the median on the highway and hit the guard rail at about a 45* angle hard. i was the first one to the car and the guy behind me had already called 911 while we ran over and i climbed into the back seat and stablized her head and talked to her until the medics got there and in about 10 minutes she was finally able to get her name out to me so im praying that she made it she seamed stable as they took her about you never know. at least i got to use some of my training from my emt class, just wish there was more i could have done for her.

Nice pics. Well, all but one. You ought to be shot for posting that. Ewww...

Kentucky is beautiful. Dad is from there, we used to go down every year when I was a kid. We were in Glasgow, a good bit west of Pikeville.

I can't express how kickass this picture is. Gramps knows how to party in he mancave! Guns, fishin' pole, rack on the wall (rack in he chair), head on the other wall, H-D beercan on the shelf next to the guitar...

but the highway is fairly dangerous down there.

I have a friend in Kimper that was riding her R6 (which she wrenches and races) when her boyfriend got wiped out by a coal truck. Beautiful but dangerous.

Looks like a pool room I'd imagine Ray Wylie Hubbard or David Allen Coe might have. LOL
