After riding on 75 this weekend I think I might like a windscreen for the highway runs. At the higher speeds the wind really became a factor and I could tell my body was acting like a sail.

If you had the brackets, I know a guy that makes replacement windshields.

My brother-inlaw gave me the hi dolla, quick detach H-D windsheild. I wish I knew what I did with it, I used it once in 8 years. I'd rather wear a full face helmet than use the W/S.

Hey man, will it fit on my wide ass forks do you think? is it a decent size one where it will cut the wind alright you think?

you can kinda see how they mount on the forks its one of the ugliest set ups ever for mounting but i think they offer a quick detach kit as well. its called the national cycle sport screen and they are like 99 bucks on jc whitney.

"Spitfire" makes a similar one with a two-point mount off the handlebars, very similar in size to the National. Loosen two allen screws and its off in30 seconds.

Bob: Think mine only ran about $50.00, and does take the windload off your chest.
