Welcome aboard. Is that the Area P exhaust on the Ninja? Had that one on my '08 250R before I sold it.

Welcome to the site! I have a question for you, someone told me that a CBR F4i would be a good next bike for me. I'm riding a Ninja 250 now (first bike) and I've only been riding since last August. What do you think?? Can a fairly new chick rider handle a F4i?

In my half asleep state this morning, I totally missed that you're from the Grayling/Gaylord area. My mom lives about 50 miles south of there. Great riding up there! Hoping to get some time this summer for some, but the way the orders keep coming in at work...not sure how likely that is to happen.

Hey thanks all for the welcome.. The wife and I are looking for people to ride with so if anyone's in the area or passing thru hit us up even if it's just a meet. I'll make sure to get wife on to introduce herself soon.

Aeryck... Yep, Full Area P. Was a smidge loud for her so I called Area P and ordered a suppressor for the tip. She's getting used to it..Purchased from a guy in Warren in March and it was only rode once last year.. had to drain the tank, change oil, plugs and synch the carbs and then added Seafoam to 5-6 tanks of fuel before it took off for her.
Added the Zero Gravity DB and shaved the tail up for her.

Ninjagirl..That's a hard question to answer for you.. but if you think your ready which it sounds like you are then yeah..Go For It !! I was told the CBR is only 100 lbs. more but the shifts are quicker and the powerband is a whole lot meaner. The wife has already been contemplating upgrading next year also to either an F4i or Ninja 500 (if the body style changes). She had dirtbikes as a kid but this is her 1st bike so when we were shopping around she sat on some ninja 500's and 600 F4i but didn't feel comfortable so she went with the Ninjette.
I would suggest sitting on a few and getting a few test rides before purchase.
Make sure you feel comfortable on it. A wise man told me once "Don't pick the bike, let the bike pick you". I eventually wanna step up to a CBR 600 rr but I'll never go bigger like to say a 1 liter bike. I love my bike and the way it just fits me like we are 1. You dont wanna bike that spooks you.You want to know what its going to do at all times, and can control it when it reacts.
Stay safe out there.....

Thanks for the advice! I've sat on a Ninja 650 and GSX F recently, but haven't come across an F4i yet. I've liked both of those. We'll see, if it happens it probably won't be till the end of the season or I get sick of struggling to keep up with the crew!!

welcome to the site wrath and definitely get your wife on here the more the merrier.

and ninja sat on a 250 ninja and a 600 cbr rr and the size wasn't all that different. i felt cramped on both lol (im a big guy). but my buddy loves his it will get up and go when he wents and he can hold his speed very easy too. i rode it one time and wasn't too difficult to get the hang of just odd going from cruiser to sport bike since ive only been on a few rockets.

On the wife logging on. consider this...

it narrows your playing field. no game talking and hittin on the resident chicks if your wife is here. It may start a cat fight and you may fall as a not so inocent bystander. Oh wait... chick fight...

Disregard.

I-75 right by the Hilltop Truckstop in Waters. Be a good place to meet for lunch. Or hook up for a ride with ya's.
We'll be in Baldwin this weekend for the Blessing of the Bikes.
Low 70's and sun in the forecast for Sat thru next week.(finally).

Welcome to the nuthouse wrath.

Some friends of ours have a cabin in Waters, we're going to try and get up there a couple times this summer. I'll let ya know and maybe we can get a few rides in, if ya don't mind riding with cruisers.

Nice looking scoots.
