Name: Andy Ross Charity Motorcycle Ride
Date; June 19, this is our 10th anniversary run
Time; Registration is from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., we have a short program and the Ride starts at noon sharp.
Where; Elizabeth Park, Trenton, MI.
Benefit; Trenton Firefighter Charities, where all proceeds are returned to the community in the form of grants, donations and scholarships

What; the ride begins at Elizabeth Park in Trenton, a perfect setting on the Detroit River to showcase the nearly 1000 motorcycles that show up to have a good time and support a good cause. From there, the bikes typically travel 45 miles out to the Milan Dragway for snacks and refreshments and a halfway stop. A different route is taken on the way back that takes the riders through several of the beautiful Metroparks. This was the first motorcycle ride ever allowed to go through the Parks and from the comments of the riders, they look forward to this ride each year. Arriving back at the park, the riders are treated to an excellent cookout with plenty of food, drink, and live music. Prior to the ride please join the staff and other riders at Buster's for a free continental breakfast (located at W. Jefferson & Vreeland Rd.) Afterwards, the riders gather for an after-party, again at Buster's Bar in Trenton to reconnect and enjoy more great company and live music.

LOL Yeah both are fireman rides arn't they? I think if I was to do one it'd be the Andy Ross ride. I think that one for blind center gets too big.

The Andy Ross Ride, last time I went they had to ride single row for a good portion of the ride due to the roads being so bad. I don't mind but every year seems to be more new riders and they had 3 bikes go down 2 years ago.

Yeah, a lot of those roads are smaller back roads I think?

I guess the Axemen cut a check to the Andy Ross ride so I figured two birds with one stone. And like Alhall stated, that's kinda my fear that someone is going to plow into me with a 1000 lb cruiser with every piece of hard luggage imaginable.
