So I had my clip-on break on my trailer ride back from Grattan a couple of weekends ago.. while replacing the clip-on I was struggling with removing the grip.. my neighbor came over and gave me a simple yet highly effective way to deal with grips - air compressor.. just blow air into the grip, it expands and slips off and on real easy.. took less than a minute for something that could have taken me over an hour to wrestle it off and back onto the new clip-on.. he learned it from wheeler down at deals gap.. just basically take the air nozzle and shove into the grip and blow air in there.. works great..

Just hope the previous owner did not glue the grips on. I had this issue with my GSXR. LOL
