Well with the intro of the 48 there's been a replaying of old style becoming new again. So yesterday I was riding the Nightster and was thinking up those under slung mirrors. Thinking... I wonder...

Sorry for junky phone pics...

So here's stock, traditional placement

I think it looks cool. Its different and will take some getting use to when riding. But still have great view behind me and maybe even a better view next to me in the blind spot zone.

What ya think?

I think you should ask your wife since it's her bike.

Shit I ride it as much if not more than she does... LOL

You also have to swap sides... Right one goes on left side and vise versa.

Nope... don't hit. trust me I checked that first off. put on another 50 miles today on it... hard to adjust to lookin so far low...

I like it. I used to have mine flipped when I had mirrors. I'm still looking for one tiny one to be legal.

Yeah I always have to balance my ideas against the wife. Its suppose to be her bike. If it wasn't for her I'd have forward controls on it.

Seeing as I just found out we're roughly the same in height...is your wife considerably shorter than you? I have forwards on the Deuce. I really wasn't sure if I was going to be cool with them at first due to my "low center of gravity"...now that I'm used to them, I couldn't imagine going back to mids.

Got my new black "asshole" mirrors, I know need pictures- not computer literate so you'll have to ask Tim,(Telecast). Tried them upright and not much to be seen only about 1" of mirror usable on each. Tried a flip like I had done on the 2000C and get incredible view but having a tough time "looking down" and taking my eyes off of the road. Will run some more and see if I can adapt.

Hey, at least you got your mirrors!

Based on how long it took them to ship, mine should only be 2 or 3 months away!

Well there are a set of mini apes in store for the Nightster soon. So then the under slung will really look good.
