Harbor Freight, here's the coupon. This is the one I paid $6 for last week.

Just print and take it in to the store.

it says not for use with caustic or flammable liquids so that rules out gas or brake fluid right? so what might be some uses of it? anti-freeze? oil?

hell for 3 three bucks i would buy a couple and im sure that would have been awesome to help me bleed my brakes last week and it wouldnt have taken me an hour to do.

I saw that too Mud. But for that price... use it and then pitch it!

Dave used one of my super siphons on his snow mobile a few weeks back... said it worked GREAT! And it is ok to use on gas and such...

No, it's wrong. The instruction manual and instructions printed on the pump itself specifically say for tansferring fuel and gas, etc etc. HF has the wrong description on the website, it's been like that for a long time. I exlpained that in the thread last week when I bought it.

BTW, I wouldn't have bought or recommended it if it couldn't be used with gas. I may be dumb, but I ain't stupid.

I emailed HF just for shits-n-giggles. Told them that either the owner's manual or the info in their ad is wrong. Be interesting to see if they respond and what they say.

Great handy little pumps I've used them to change inboard motor oil on my boat as well as empty out standing water when my bilge pump failed.

From HF:

It can be used with caustic or flammable liquids. I found that info in
T-48145 (one of our problem notes)

Found this today. Maybe Harbor Freight does sell cheap stuff, but so does everyone else. This is the EXACT SAME PUMP, only from Murray's. Your price, just $14.99.

I wish I could find a pic of the HF pump in it's packaging. The only thing different is the card with the name on it.
