Has any one ever re upholstered there bike seat? I'd like to take a stab at it my foam in the seat is in good condition but I have some wear marks starting to show. Wondering if my heavy duty stable gun is strong enough to penetrate the hard plastic base of the seat or do I need quit being so cheap and let the pros do it?

Just checked out SEATMAKERS site and those are some Bad Azz seats in deed, I sent him a email might have to break down and pay up and let someone else tackle it but I'm normally a D.I.Y. kind of guy.

Don't blame you for giving it a shot. I once reupholstered an entire set of seats for a boat. Borrowed my sister's sewing machine made for leather weight material, did them in two-tone brown and white. Came out pretty good too, but I'd never do it again!

Can you? Yes

Will it look like a pro? No

Seatmaker is cheaper than you think.

not to steal seatmakers work but my ol lady does seats and what ever else she can get her hands on. Not sure what kinda style you looking to go for. we tend to cater more to old school style things. here are some pics of some of the work she has done. (she does the sewing and i do the install.)
send me a pm even if you just looking for some pointers im allways willing to help out. We do good work cheap so let us know if there is any thing we can do for you.

simple solo seat done is white metal flake vinyl, with gold flake piping. (we have yards upon yards of this stuff in 5 or 6 diff. colors)
