I'd hope to be riding by then.

This is different than the swap meet, yes? It looks like a show/vendor booths type deal.

I'm always disappointed with any show at the Trade Centers. If you guys go let me know how it was.

The bike shows are ok. Any and all swap meets anywhere are BS.

oops, it's a show/vender show LOL.

i enjoy swap meets when theres old rusty junk there, my kind of parts. anything i buy, i cut up anyways LOL. i'm sick of all the new crap at dealer prices they try to sell at the swaps.

Someone who's going on Saturday let us know if it's worth the trip. I might go Sunday if there are decent reviews.

Well not much to see and I didn't bother to take any pics. I guess it depends how close you are but the 1-1/2 hr drive for me was not worth it. I did however get to check out a few glocks while I was there.

Well then I guess I'm glad I didn't go.

I did however go by Biker Bobs and get some tshirts... 75% off. Can't beat getting HD shirts for $6

Besides the two bikes in that pic there's an awful lot of empty space. I guess I'll pass.

That was thursday... It was pretty packed today, some cool bikes

I'm partial to the 70's SOHC 750 bikes and there were 4 of them, There was a couple of cool looking 60's Triumphs and another 70's Honda a 650 I think, with ammo cans for bags, that looked pretty cool. Harleys are alright, but they all look the same, same goes for most of the "custom" choppers. To me they all look like someone bought crap out of a catalog and put them together.

My father in law has a couple of BSA 650's buried in his garage, I would love to inherit those someday... neither one runs though but it would be cool to try to get them going again.

Tim: I rode down in the rain, imagine that, and found only one other bike in the " bike parking". I thought there were some fine looking scoots and had hoped to meet Tinman. You'll have to let me know when you're ready to do a "Thumb run" probably when the weather breaks, after all it is Spring time!!!

Sounds like a 'great' time. Ugh.

Definitely want to do a thumb ride this year. Would like to get up around the Lelenau too.

If I'm not working I wouldn't mind a good thumb ride.

Comming from the heart of the thumb (gasman has been here). I would love to do a thumb run but remember , if you get along the lake early in the riding season you will freeze your ass off.

I think we ought to go back to the term Paul used, 'Thumb Run'

Thumb ride is just unnerving...
