I bought this thinking I could make it work, but its too thick in the back and long in the front...

Heres what I have currently: minus the pad... My daughter likes to ride with me, so I need something back there for her to sit on

Just looking for a stocker? There is ALWAYS someone selling CB750 parts on Craigslist too. Shouldn't be too hard to come across.

stocker wont fit with that fender... and tank

I'm probably going to have to make a pan and have one covered, but I am on a very limited budget

I work in sheet metal stampings, all sorts of metal to snag outa the scrap bins. Fabing it up is a different story, I'm more of a cad/cnc guy

If you're going that route, you may just be able to modify the Sporty seat and re-cover it. Looks like the basic shape already works, just needs a bit of "tweaking".

The sporty seat had a plastic pan... else thats what I would have tried to do.
It's back on flea-bay maybe I'll get more than I paid for it...

He said stock won't fit. LoL _DK_, I was actually thinking that while I was posting..."Hmm...wonder if the pan is plastic...". Probably the only way you'll be able to get something that fits the way you want is going to be custom. Ran into the same problem when I was playing with the idea of swapping the stock fender on my Deuce for a standard HD Bobtail fender. It would have worked, but finding a seat that would work without custom fabbing would have been damn near impossible.

RK took a vid of me hand crankin my kicker but that didnt take either, LOL

That sporty seat didnt sell, I think I may just try to make the thing fit...Remove staples and Trim off 2-2.5" of plastic on the nose and just restaple the cover on? Thoughts...

See the 1st pic in this thread...

Though I might recover some of the coin if I can flip the seat as is( a guy at work may take it for $25)... If I cut it and it don't work, its trash for sure... too much to think about, LOL... Guess I'll go loose the rest of my marbles at Chuckie Cheese with the family...

Though I did discover why someone already cut a 4x4" square outa the bottom of the pan, clearance for a powercommander or some such device... possibly.
