This'd be nice on washday or for routine maintenance instead of putting the bike on a lift for the little things.

ya but with max capacity of 500lbs your road king is a little too big

Nah...his Road King is probably only around 7-800lbs max. Divided by 2 wheels, 350-400 per wheel (give or take for a non-perfect 50/50 weight distribution)...should still be alright.

It is kinda a neat gadget, but for $30 I think I'd rather just roll the bike a few feet. I'd forget it in the shed anyways and only remember 1/2 way through cleaning the wheels, at which point I'd say "fuck it" and just roll the bike instead of going to dig for it.

I put mine up on a jack I got from PEP Boys. I think I paid $50-$60 for it and it's not as low to the ground then.

Telecast, I have had one of those since last summer. It's good for checking the tires and chain lubing (if you have a chain!). Putting my bike on the rear stand is much better, but using this is still better than rolling the bike around.

Think that'd be the way I'd go too. Practicallity trumps all.

Mad, got a pic/link? Is it just a regular MC lift?

Rug, Zombie nails it. The FLH would ork on it fine, roughly half the weight on each wheel.

It'd be worth it to me. Even with the bags off there's just not that much open space around the back tire for cleaning the rims. It's like: Roll, clean, roll, clean, roll, clean, roll...shit, too far. Back up, clean, roll, clean....

Just looks like it'd be easier than getting out the lift.

Best price I found is Northern Tool. $99.00
I've had mine about 4 years now but that's a big price increase. It's a good jack though. Has a nice lever that lets you lower the bike at a slow-controled rate. Have never had a problem with mine.

Ok, it's just a regular lift. Harbor Freight, Sears, etc.

LoL True true. Mine I only have to move once or twice to get the whole wheel.

I use my alum mc jack I got from sears. Works great when washing the bikes in the driveway. Or I use one of my black scissor jacks.
