Well I'm not going to repost everything here... but link ya to the blog I did on the big dog site.

If you're looking to kill some time, or suffering from a sleep disorder. Take a look.

The Road to the Phoenix (http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/customizing-add-ons/1151-road-phoenix-6.html) is about me gathering parts, setting things up, and the BDM tear down, etc. See how I ordered parts, setup the garage, tore the bike down. It was a big project for my first round of large mods and bolt by bolt build.

The Rebirth of the Phoenix (http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/customizing-add-ons/2421-rebirth-phoenix.html) is the blog on the build from frame up.

The Phoenix takes Flight (http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/customizing-add-ons/3486-phoenix-takes-flight.html) is just that. It has some pics and a number of videos.

At the end of the day. It was a good first "build". The best part was that because it was a tear down, I was able to skip most of the mocking. I still had to mock the pipes, cam cover, re-mock/adjust the pipes, the top motor mount, coil mounts, and a few other things. But with the proper forethought it all went rather smooth. I also did a nueratic amount of labeling and bagging.

What ya think?

It's a shame you got rid of it after all that work.

no doubt.. and worse that you didn't buy something more track worthy (and use the left over money to have someone monitor your gas level while you were at the track)..

I know... but at least I ride more now.

True... should have bought a track bike with a fuel gauge.

NOW YOU'RE DOING IT!

You would look so good shredding corners on a new Yamaha at the track..
